Manchester City and Arsenal engaged in a thrilling 2-2 draw, a result that kept fans on the edge of their seats and had significant implications for the title race.

Chelsea continued their impressive form under manager Enzo Maresca, securing a 3-0 victory against West Ham United. This win extended their unbeaten run to four league matches, moving them up to fourth in the table with 10 points.

Meanwhile, Manchester United faced a frustrating 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, despite controlling much of the match. How the top 6 EPL clubs performed

Here's a summary of how the top 6 teams performed:

1. Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth

Liverpool’s emphatic return to winning ways in the Premier League was displayed by a 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield. After their shock loss to Nottingham Forest the previous week, Arne Slot's men wasted no time in restoring order on Merseyside.

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo saw an early goal ruled out, and from that moment on, the Reds took control. Luis Diaz continued his brilliant start to the season with two goals in quick succession, bringing his total to five for the campaign. Despite a valiant effort from Bournemouth keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, his defence was left in tatters. Darwin Nunez soon capitalised, curling a beautiful shot past the helpless Spaniard to make it 3-0.

2. Man United 0-0 Crystal Palace

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace in a match where former Red Devil, Dean Henderson, became the hero for the Eagles. Henderson pulled off several key saves to deny United, including a brilliant effort to stop Alejandro Garnacho’s fierce strike early in the game.

While United dominated much of the first half, they failed to convert their chances. Fernandes hit the woodwork, while Joshua Zirkzee’s header went agonisingly wide. Despite being on top for much of the match, United’s defence was nearly breached when Eberechi Eze found space but shot straight at Andre Onana.

The second half saw a more balanced game, with Palace coming close to snatching victory through Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr. The match however ended with United frustrated, as they couldn’t find the decisive goal, leaving fans to wonder how long their attacking inconsistencies will linger.

3. Tottenham 3-1 Brentford

Dominic Solanke opened his goal account for Tottenham in a 3-1 triumph over Brentford, marking a much-needed second win of the season for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo stunned the home crowd with an acrobatic volley inside the first minute, but Solanke responded just seven minutes later, tapping in from close range.

Brennan Johnson put Tottenham ahead before halftime and James Maddison, in stellar form, added a third, with Son Heung-Min providing the assist, securing the win.

The victory moved Tottenham up to 10th in the table, with seven points from five matches, while Brentford slid to 12th.

4. West Ham 3-0 Chelsea

Chelsea’s impressive start under Enzo Maresca continued with a 3-0 away win at West Ham. Nicolas Jackson was the star of the show, netting twice within the first 18 minutes. The Blues, with their newfound tactical discipline, dominated the game, leaving West Ham chasing shadows.

After halftime, Jackson turned prime Kevin De-Bruyne, setting up Cole Palmer for Chelsea’s third. With four matches unbeaten and 10 points, Chelsea moved into fourth place. Meanwhile, West Ham’s troubles continued, and they suffered their third consecutive home defeat, remaining stuck in 14th place.

5. Manchester City 2-2 Arsenal

In the weekend’s most anticipated match, Manchester City and Arsenal battled to a dramatic 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium. Erling Haaland’s ninth-minute strike, his 10th league goal of the season and 100th for City, was cancelled out by Riccardo Calafiori’s screamer from 20 yards out.

Central defender Gabriel gave Arsenal the lead before halftime, but the Gunners were reduced to 10 men as Leandro Trossard was sent off. Despite relentless pressure from City in the second half, Arsenal held firm until John Stones struck in the 98th minute to rescue a point for Pep Guardiola’s side. With 13 points, City stayed top of the table, while Arsenal, with 11 points, remained in fourth place.
