  • At 39, Ronaldo remains one of football’s greatest scorers, continuing his success with Saudi side, Al-Nassr
  • Portugal’s Euro 2016 victory remains one of Ronaldo’s proudest achievements

Cristiano Ronaldo’s name has become inseparable from goal-scoring excellence, with the Al-Nassr forward setting a benchmark for young footballers worldwide. Over two decades, Ronaldo has relentlessly broken records, and even as he nears 40, he shows no signs of slowing down.

More popular for his illustrious spells at Real Madrid and Manchester United, he was also outstanding during his time at Juventus and Sporting CP and continues to shine with Al-Nassr in the Middle East.

His legendary rivalry with Lionel Messi, now at Inter Miami, defined the last decade of football, gifting fans with moments that might never be replicated. Widely regarded as one of the most prolific goal scorers in football history, Ronaldo has consistently raised the bar at the highest levels of the sport.

While much of his glory came during his time with Real Madrid, his accomplishments with Manchester United and Juventus are equally desirable.

On the international stage, Ronaldo’s contributions to Portugal have been nothing short of phenomenal. After becoming his nation's all-time top scorer, he translated individual brilliance into collective success, resulting in a European Championship triumph in 2016, a victory he holds as dear as his Champions League triumphs.

Ronaldo reached another historic milestone in Portugal's Nations League game against Croatia on Thursday, September 5, netting his 900th career goal.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid icon is now the first player to score 900 goals in official matches for club and country, ahead of long-time rival, Lionel Messi.

His 39th-minute goal, a tap-in from a Nuno Mendes cross, saw Ronaldo raise his hands to his face in an emotional celebration.

“It was emotional because it’s a milestone, It seems like any other milestone, but only I know, and the people around me, how hard it is to work every day, to be physically and psychologically fit, to score 900 goals. It’s a unique milestone in my career,” the forward said after the match.

The 39-year-old has now scored 131 international goals for Portugal, 450 for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, 101 for Juventus, 68 for Al-Nassr, and five for Sporting Lisbon, totalling an astonishing 900 goals.

Previously, TheRadar reported that Cristiano Ronaldo had built a career on unforgettable moments, but in recent times showed that his ability to create magic on the pitch was fading. His latest tantrum during Al-Nassr’s Saudi Super Cup final defeat against Al-Hilal on Saturday, August 17, was a sign that the 39-year-old superstar could be struggling to accept his diminishing football powers.
